Hunsdon Carpet Bowls - New Members Needed- Come along on a Thursday afternoon and try your hand at a new sociable sport

posted 19 Sept 2019, 02:43 by Hunsdon Village Hall   [ updated 19 Sept 2019, 02:44 ]

Carpet Bowls is a sport for all - it can be played by men and women all ages and can be as competitive as you like? We are a small friendly, sociable group but are reducing in numbers and desperately need new members to make the club viable. Its a great opportunity to make new friends and take some gentle exercise!  We meet every Thursday afternoon in the Village Hall between 14:00 and 16:00. Why not come along and try a taster session. Tuition and equipment is provided you just need to wear some flat shoes.
Either call in to the hall on a Thursday afternoon or contact  Peter Deadman 01279 843230 or Dick Waters 01279 842581

Hunsdon Village Hall

Consultation meeting for the sale of a small piece of land

Hunsdon Village Hall is proposing to sell a small piece of land, currently adjoining the property of No. 41 High Street Hunsdon, to Justin Barker at 41 High Street. Legally we need to hold a village meeting to approve this sale.

Inhabitants of Hunsdon Parish are therefore invited to a meeting to discuss this matter at:

 6:30pm on Wednesday 12th June

In the Village hall

The meeting should take no longer than 20 minutes and we would be delighted to see everyone there.
