Meeting Room

The meeting room is a seperate room within the modern annexe at the rear of the building. This light and airy room with a high vaulted ceiling is approximately 4m wide x 6m long. This is ideal for small meetings or training sessions or as a remote office for home working.

On the gable end wall, opposite the door, is a large electric roll down screen for use with the data projector. The room can be laid out with separate tables and chairs in classroom format facing the screen or with rectangular tables in the centre to form a boardroom style meeting layout.

The room is equipped with full Audio Visual equipment with a drop down screen and data projector. A laptop can be connected to the screen with VGA cable (or HDMI adaptor) for showing presentations or can show films  via a DVD player.

It also has a built in Hearing Loop and CD/DVD player which can play music CDs or DVDs via the built in amplifier. To work the hearing loop requires the lecturer/speaker to use the microphone.

The building is supplied with 100Mbps High Speed broadband (Fibre to the Premises) and the meeting room and rest of the building is covered by both 5Ghz and 2.4GhzMesh Wi-Fi Network. If required there are also two 1Gbps ethernet ports in the meeting room for a wired connection.

Access to toilets is via the annexe corridor and the rear enclosed garden is accessible via the annexe entrance. This is great for breaks. Smoking is allowed in the rear garden but not within the building or on the front forecourt.
